Roads to the East
Burr Trail	3/15/2023	2WD	In good condition, watch for mud & rocks in road.
Notom-Bullfrog	3/19/2023	4WD-HC	2WD and washboarded! Per Capitol Reef NPS report. 4WD-HC, currently not recommended at this time due to mud! Per Capitol Reef NPS report.
Road to Bullfrog Marina	3/19/2023	2WD	Conditions currently unknown for Bull Frog crossing. Per Capitol Reef NPS report.
Wolverine Loop	3/6/2023	Impassable	Impassable due to mud and snow.
Cedar Wash	3/17/2023	2WD-HC	Road is dry with deep ruts and washouts.
Hole in the Rock	3/10/2023	2WD-HC	Road still has a few wet spots but passable. Recommend 4WD-HC for last 7 miles.
Spencer Flat	3/19/2023	2WD-HC	Clear and dry, in good condition. Recommend 2WD-HC.

Smoky Mountain - Alvey Wash	3/23/2023	Impassable	Wahweap Creek running thigh-deep at crossing. Extremely muddy at Alvey Wash end, also.
Left Hand Collet	3/23/2023	Impassable	Impassable!
Croton	3/5/2023	2WD-HC	Dry to Grand Bench jct. from the south, but deep ruts in places. Unknown north of there.
Smoky Hollow	3/9/2023	2WD-HC	HC needed for some wash crossings.

Roads to the West
Cottonwood	3/17/2023	4WD-HC	Some mud south of Hackberry, but impassable from Hackberry north to the Narrows. Unknown at the north end.
Skutumpah	3/23/2023	Impassable	Impassable!
Glendale Bench	3/2/2023	Impassable	Deep snow drifts and mud make this road impassable.
Paria Movie Set	3/17/2023	2WD	Some mud south of restroom, but 4WD-HC needed north of there.
House Rock Valley	3/18/2023	4WD	89A to Wire Pass is moderate clearance 2WD. 89 to Wire Pass is moderate to high clearance All- or Four- wheel drive.
White House	3/10/2023	2WD	Shallow ruts at south crossing, and a few puddles.

Hello everyone, here is an updated road report. With the really wet Spring we are having most of the unpaved roads in the Monument and surrounding areas are extremely muddy, or impassable!

Check with your local visitor center for current conditions.

Be careful out there!
